We hope to serve the community by offering events, information, and action on issues and policies which affect each of us. Our goal is to provide Eaton County residents with the information they need to make an informed decision at the ballot box. To that end, Dems and Friends is offering public forums and events to share the facts on local, state, and national issues. Created in 2003, we have become community leaders. During this time our organization has given seminars on the Patriot Act and the Medicare Prescription Drug Discount Program. We have entertained a number of distinguished speakers at our meetings. And we have produced publications that served to inform both our growing membership and the public at large on local, state, and national issues. We absolutely welcome new members and certainly hope that we provide an atmosphere in which all interested parties can participate, learn, and grow. We typically meet once each month as a group and, in addition, have a variety of sub-committees that also provide great opportunities for individuals to participate and provide input.
